When starting off cloth diapering we began with prefolds and covers we got from Nickis Diapers.

Nicki's has fantastic customer service, pretty average prices, a great selection, and some wonderful tips and information. The prefolds were great starter diapers and if you are CD'ing (cloth diapering)for the money saving aspect, prefolds and covers are the way to go!
I have heard great things about greenmountaindiapers.com as well though I have no personal experience.
